Battery Coating Demonstration

Frontier will feature a battery coating demonstration using proprietary slot die coating technology on their DynaCoat® coater/dryer. This completely self-contained coating and drying system sets the industry standard for coating process optimization. The planned demonstration will feature slot die coating to precise thicknesses and the material will be dried and wound with servomotor control.

Laser Converting Demonstration

Delta will feature a converting demonstration using an IR laser to perform cuts replicating the process commonly used in battery manufacturing. The demo will take place on a Crusader® Converter Delta ModTech’s with EDGE® Laser Technology. Delta ModTech systems may include capabilities such as laser processing, part placement, coating, semi-rotary die cutting, conveyors and pouching.
